From Vision to Revival: Fatima Khan’s Journey

Fatima Khan, the founder of Benloom, holds a Master’s Degree in Education. With a passion for preserving West Bengal’s rich heritage, she established the company with a vision to take handloom and handmade products global. Inspired by the region’s craftsmanship, she recognized the immense potential in these products to create a thriving economy for skilled artisans.Fatima’s journey includes studying Fashion Designing and Textile Engineering at N.I.F.T (National Institute of Fashion Technology, Govt of India), India’s premier institute. Her expertise and passion have led her to receive prestigious awards, including an Artisan Identity Card from the Ministry of Textiles (Commissioner of Handicrafts) Government of India.She has also been awarded an Artisan Card by the Department of MSME&T, West Bengal Government, recognizing her contributions to the state’s handicraft industry.
